Getting started
What is Kipos?
A garden record for iPhone. Add the plants you grow, choose how often you water each one, and keep their care, photos, notes and growth phases together.
Kipos reminds you when watering is due. You can also log feeding, pruning and other care whenever you do it.
Which devices does it run on?
iPhone. Kipos is built for iPhone and is not designed for iPad. There is no released Android version.
When can I download it?
Now. Kipos is out on the App Store for iPhone. The download button on this site takes you to it, and nothing else needs to happen on your side.
Can it identify a plant from a photo?
No. Add the plant by name. You can take a photo for its record, but Kipos does not identify it from the photo. Kipos does not use AI anywhere in the app.
Does it work for indoor plants, or only a garden?
Both. Add a houseplant, herb, vegetable or flower, record where it grows, and set the watering interval you use for it.
How does the care score work?
You earn points when you log care, and a plant's points never go down. If a plant dies, Kipos does not punish you for it. How the care score works explains the rest.
Your account
Do I need an account?
Yes. Your garden, care history and photos are saved to your account, which is what lets them survive a lost or replaced phone.
You can sign in with Apple, with Google, or with an email address and a password.
I forgot my password.
On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password?. Kipos emails you a code, you enter it, and then you choose a new password.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Profile → Account → Delete account. It permanently deletes your garden, your plants, your photos and your care history. It cannot be undone.
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through the App Store. Cancel that in your Apple settings first, or Apple keeps charging for an app you no longer have.
How do I manage or cancel a subscription?
Subscriptions are handled by Apple, not by us, so they are managed in your Apple account subscriptions, on the same Apple ID you bought with. We cannot cancel or refund on your behalf.
Privacy and data
What data does Kipos hold?
Your account details, the plants you add, your care history, and any photos you take in the app. The Privacy Policy sets out what is collected, why, how long it is kept, and the rights you have over it.
Who can see my plant photos?
Photos you take in the app are stored so that your own devices can load them. Nothing is posted anywhere on your behalf. A share card is only created and sent when you choose to make one.
How do I exercise a privacy right?
Email support@kipostracker.com. The Privacy Policy sets out which rights apply where you live and how long we have to respond.
Still stuck
Something is broken. Who do I tell?
Please do tell us. The support page has a form, or you can email support@kipostracker.com directly. Say what phone you are on and what you were doing, and it gets fixed faster.
Can I suggest a feature?
Yes. Send it through support, or from inside the app under Profile → Send feedback.
Track it. Share it.
